shock question
why on leaf spring trucks is there two upper shock mount locations? now that its been lowerd 5.5" should i use the rear mount hole?so the shock is more vertical. any info is good info...thanks

I would move it to make the vertical more like stock. I do have a question, are you running the stock length shock or a shorter one?
I am told that on lowered trucks, many have run the front shock out back as they are a good length when lowering. The other option I have seen is extended shock brackets, but I don't like them as they allow the shock to hang to low to me. Drew

in part thats why i ask about the mount..i want to order some lowering shocks but depending on the hole i use. it could be helpful in determing overall length of shock. also still wondering why theres two mount holes.do coil trucks have this same mount?ive never really looked.
