Just went to look at this one. First off no (k) in the vin #. It should have a (K) right? Glove box door was from another truck, had a (K) in that vin# The bed has a plywood floor, even the top rails were rusted through. Home made rockers. Floors are rotted out , under the carpet. Can also see a lot of bad body work (bondo). On the plus side, the front clip was in good shape, He also said the drive train was in good shape and the four wheel drive worked great.S0 I guess I would like to ask you guy's opinion on this truck. Thanks Evan

I think I would keep looking too many questionable areas that may need attention...

Funny, my nephew sent me a link to this add and asked me to go with him to look at it on Wednesday with him. Thanks for posting, we won't bother wasting time now as he was looking for a project/restoration.
Still sounds like an OK deal for a northeast truck IMHO if you have the time, money and skills to do the work yourself

Good eye, I was trying to put my finger on why the front of that truck looked weird.

I wonder if he'd be willing to trade that old rotted truck for an old rotted jeep? I'd make that trade every day.

Re: Not mine but someone needs this!!! K20 $3500

What are you looking for? If you are looking for a restoration project you need to keep looking, the rust will cost you a lot of cash. If you are looking for a plow truck to keep your driveway open then it may be an OK truck, but at about 1/2 the price.

Re: Not mine but someone needs this!!! K20 $3500

Thanks everyone. and yes 71swb4x4 I am looking for a restoration project. I think I would have tried to get him to go lower on his price if the truck was a real k20. I think I would feel better if the vin# had a (K) in it. I will keep looking around. And yes lockdoc, two cents is worth more than no cents. I hope I did save you a trip myyamr7, but don't take my word for it. you and your nephew might see it as a truck you could restore. Anyway thanks for the input Evan
