Re: my new ride
Is that new to you or have you been hiding it? Floor looks like original hump 2 wheel drive. Either way shes a beauty. Any more details or specs?

Re: my new ride
Welcome to the board from another Seattleite (well, Bothell.) Looks like a great ride. Keep us updated on your plans.
FYI, many of us in the Puget Sound area try to get together a couple times a summer. The XXX Root Beer Drive-In in Issaquah hosts a couple shows over the summer that are appropriate for us truck guys. They also have informal cruises on Saturday nights. The Goodguys NW Nats in Puyallup is suppost to open up to vehicles 1972 and older this year, so I'd expect a there may be a few of us there as well.

Re: my new ride
Your Jimmy looks like a great project! I have too much junk in my garage to do any major work on my 2wd Blazer now. But your pictures are inspiring me to do some work on the old Blazer. Keep the pictures coming!

Re: my new ride
What do you need the 454 for, or is it just to have?

Re: my new ride, my old ride
here is a few more, my dad bought the jimmy about ten years ago, started to restore it, then lost interest, I have been trying to buy it for ten years and he finally decided to sell. I am going big block because it is going to be my sunny day hot rod/ski boat hauler and I already have the motor . The blazer is my beater mud bogger that I have had for 12 years, body is pretty beat but I still love the thing. Going to start parting it out soon.

Re: my new ride
here is a couple more. just wondering about the 2 wheel drive, what would it take to fit 22" wheels, I am going to do airbags, drop spindles, c-notch, upper and lower tubular control arms. will the tire fit in the fenderwell with the inner fender still in place or am I dreaming?

Nice set you got there. I love 4wd's, but I have softer spot for GMC's.
