Radiator Overflow Bottle...pics please

Hey Guys,

On my 68, I don't have the radiator overflow bottle installed....I just run the rubber line down through the radiator support and it dumps out on the pavement.....

Anybody got a custom overflow bottle/ bracket they use that goes between the battery box and the radiator to catch the overflow??

Please post pictures or links where I can find one....I need ideas....Thanks

Shame on you, you've not got that truck green yet!I had a friend a couple of years ago drive his all orignal 36 Chevy to Mcguire nuclear plant a couple of times and the company left him a note about it running over into the parking lot.
Basically told him to either put something under it to catch it or quit driving it to work.
I went to the chevy dealer and bought a over flow for a Monte Carlo.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Radiator Overflow Bottle...pics please

try (speedwaymotors.com) that is where i got mine it is approx. 2" x 19" made in polished stainless. the hose connections are on bottom. it is a very nice tank with mounting tabs on it and it fits perfect between the battery and radiator only need to drill two mounting holes. I had to cut the shorten the hose connections on bottom because it is a tight fit but looks like it goes there. Also comes in 17" long which would be the better choice. 19" is part # 91102219 for $34.99 and the 17" is #91102217 for $32.99

I believe the one on my '69 was dealer installed. I agree on checking out the scrapyards for one, unless you want billet.

Geoff,
I bought mine from a local place called murrays auto supply (Local Race Shop) the way we did it we ran a braided hose from the passenger side down under the radiator support up to the bottom of the billet tank on the drivers side. I can take picts of it when I get home as the truck is at my house now.
Let me know.
