1972 Suburban in Euless Tx. 4 sale

Wood Floor????

I very new with the Subs side of our trucks. They were wood floors? That is one I hadn't heard before.

The cargo areas in the burbs are wood.

It's kind of a plywood sheet, about 1/2" - 3/4" thick. It would be a real challenge to fab a oak/steel-runner wood bed. The thought has crossed my mind but I'm not sure just how you'd get it done. I think a whole new system of cross sills, side flanges and runners would be necessary. It would look cool.

I was thinking about putting a floating wood floor in on top of the original.We put one in a friends Kenworth.

I think it was born a Highlander burb although front seat does not have original material. Notice the glove box sticker has "Special Promotional" on it. I believe that indicates Highlander promo in 72. It also has tilt and air, 2 of the items that could be added as part of the package for less than if purchased separately. It certainly has all the earmarks of a highlander. See the following post:
