can anyone tell me what this part is

its the frist one i ever saw on 1 of these old trucks it says trans. fuild on the lid.

the washer bottel bracket is drifferent to.

It's the remote resovoir for the power steering on big block trucks.

The top pic is the steering reservoir for a big block. It would have a hose running to the pump.

thats what i need for my corvette. i had to cut the dipstick off my cap just to get it off
