Re: A surprise find today!
That is a nice find. I'd be hoping for 3.73

Re: A surprise find today!
My surprise comes when I open a bucket and I see a posi diff in there. Hmmm... which one is this and when did I put it there?

Re: A surprise find today!
That's nice, now look at the filler plug, posi should have a round filler plug that sticks out. The round plug held the red tag stating to use posi additive.

Re: A surprise find today!
Over 45 -50 years the Red Posi tag could get lost, especially if the PO exposed the truck to JiffyLube type maintenance,

Re: A surprise find today!
Agreed on loosing the tag but the round plug is usually still there. Non posi plugs are flush and don't have the raised round stickout.

Re: A surprise find today!
I was pleasantly suprised when the roller 1969 C10 frame I bought ended up having a factory Posi-traction unit and 3.73's in it.

Re: A surprise find today!
There was no tag , After 51 years who knows what happened to it over the years ? I have to say I didn't even look for one at the time , I dug through my parts bins and it has a new one now.
