76 c10 finding out options
Guys I used to have a 76 c10 and we had to scrap it along time ago, I still have the title and have been looking up info on what the truck came with. I have decoded alot of the vin online and found out it had a 350 4 bolt stock, when we had the truck it came with a straight 6. I have no way of getting the rpo's which is what I was looking for, other rpo's and options about the transmission and rear end. I know it had a 3 on the tree behind the inline 6, and it had posi, and I mean posi, had clutches and stuff in it and was a 12 bolt.
So my questions are is there a way to find rpo codes online without the spid sticker but having the vin? Or any other info I can find out about the drivetrain?

Here's his thread
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ighlight=keith I'm pretty sure you can't find out any of the options without the build sheet or the rpo sticker in the glovebox. |

Re: 76 c10 finding out options
lol musta overlooked it in the search but thanks
probably not. I just wondered about the gear ratio and trans. there were a couple 3 speeds in the truck of thoose years with different first gear ratio's and the rear end was posi but never got to count the teeth, it was a pure beat though.
