Disappointed w/SKC
I know we all rely on word of mouth to locate quality vendors for parts to restore/maintain our trucks, so I'm going to sound off a little about how frustrated I am right now with the folks at Southern Kentucky Classics out of Bowling Green, KY. My first order (over $2,400.00) was short a couple of items, and another item was incorrect. They corrected the issue promptly, as they should have. On this order were some body panels (bedsides) which turned out to be made in Taiwan and of disappointing fit and finish....I guess maybe this is all that anybody stocks anymore? Now, after notifying them that they have sent me two LH reverse lights, they send me a RH defroster duct as the corrected order.....really?? Come on guys, pay attention!

I just hung two bedsides on my truck for test fit. What was wrong with yours? Mine are TriPlus brand.

Re: Disappointed w/SKC
I had to modify rear crossmember (Mar-K, so I'm sure it's correct) and it was a real chore to get the front bed panel to line up and 'square' the bed. Also have some really rough straight edges and deep grinding scars around the tail light and tailgate area. I really expected better stuff. Maybe my expectations were too high?

Re: Disappointed w/SKC
What kind of modification to the rear crossmember? That sounds extreem. Mine just slid down into place (albiet tight I think). We haven't got to my front panel yet. Not sure where (or why) you'd have deep grinding scars around the tail light and tailgate areas. Got any pics?

Re: Disappointed w/SKC
If I'm seeing it right, that's what mine looked like. We just put the side above the crossmember then spread the metal apart some and it slid down over.
