68 Blazer?

I know the blazer didnt start till 70 but has anyone out there ever seen a 67-68 front clip installed on one? considering doing this just for fun.My buddies got a GMC jimmy and I've got a 68 front clip.I've heard that the GMC fenders will fit for 67-68 chevy ones.If this is true could I get away with just changing the hood and grill assembly? Would sure save a guy some time.If its not possible you could still just bolt up the 68 clip?Any pics of trucks -Blazers out there that have undergone this ? I wonder.............

The first production Blazer was in 1969. Lots of people have mounted 67-68 clips on them. They look pretty nice with them to. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

We used to own a 72 blazer, and the P.O. had put 67-68 nose on it. I kick myself everyday that we sold it. It was rust free, 6" lift new black interior, brand new motor and Hugger orange!!! Sweet blazer! My husband was starting his business and we needed $$$. We sold it to an 18 year old kid ($5000- in 1997)and within a year he had wrecked it and thrashed it beyond belief!! Man I wish we still had that blazer! Anyways it looked really nice with the different nose on it. I love the 67-68 look!
