OT - FS Solid 79 Shortbed Fleet - Pa - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

79 chevy shortbed fleetside. South Carolina truck. The only rust on this truck was on the driver side door (which is new). Old door is included. There is a new front clip on it (newer style with dual headlights) that includes new fenders and new inners. Core support is excellent. Cab is very good as well as the bed. Needs painted and a little detail work. Was a running/driving truck before the motor transplant (brakes work, etc). Now has a 454 w/ TH400 (73K miles). New starter, alternator, wp, wires, plugs, etc. Just needs very minor wiring and little details to get running again. The ceramic headers are gone now and it has exhaust manifolds. There are two hoods that go with the truck. I think the bumpers are both there. There is an excellent seat that goes with truck (maroon cloth). The interior is pretty nice other than the dash pad is cracked. Good clear title. 7" rally wheels. $2000. Firm. This truck has lots of potential with a paint job and some detailing.
