it will physically fit except for electriuc some have wiper on the stalk others on the dash other than that and cruise and all yeah

the electrical wiring was changed somewhere around 78-79. You just have to make sure you get both sides of the wiring harness from the donor truck, and move the wires. I hear the steering shaft is different as well, but I have always changed the shaft at the same time.

83 or 84 was change, 73-82 all work same

any will botlin 73-87 but wipers and dimmer switch
83 switch went to column, probably wipers in 83 also

My 84 has the wiper and dimmer on the column. My 83 had the wiper on the dash and the dimmer on the floor.

ok,thats right, i forgot i removed dimmer fromthe floorofthe cut up83 cab out here, yep,i didntpay much attention tothe wipers though
