I think so to. I think that is the first time i have seen them blend in the wood.

thanks my 11 yr old son stained pine boards with black stain then sanded it and stained it with red oak stain then cleared it the whole truck is going to be black on black so i wanted the bed to match but still look like wood

The wood usually sets in top of the side flange and under the tub flange. How did you set this up? Not a knock but just trying to wrap my brain around it. Keep up the good work!

ya they were rusted really bad so i cut them off i have this rubber trim to go on the tubs are just sat there for mock up here is a pic with rubber onName:  IMG1047.jpg

when the tubs get bolted down the rubber presses tight against the wood to seal

the box is alot stronger with the checker plate on the bed sides and that way i dont have to lift the bed to replace the wood if it rots
