Completly tore one apart once after I had it rebuilt and found out I was better off replacing it with something newer instead of fighting with older parts and technology and never getting it to run exactly right. Long story but Im happy now with the new one on my 327.

Question SPECIFIC ?S

I GUESS WHAT I REALLY NEED IS TO KNOW WHERE I SHOULD HOOK UP MY VACUME LINES. ALL I REALLY NEED IS MY VAC ADVANCE FOR MY DISTRIBUTER AND A CONNECTION AND HOW TO RUN MY PVC. IVE GOT A SET OF AC DELCO CHROME VALVE COVERS WITH A 3/4 INCH GROMMET FOR THE PVC,THIS IS MUCH LARGER THAN WHAT I REMOVED. (PICS SURE WOULD HELP HERE).I HAVE BEEN TOLD I CAN PLUG THE VAC PORTS IM NOT USING. THE CARB IN QUESTION HAS NUMBER 17058202 I FOUND A DECODER AND IT SAYS ITS A 78 4BBL CHEVROLET W/AUTO TRANS. IM SO CLOSE TO STARTING THIS THING I CAN FEEL IT SO I SURE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP. THANKS
