Please help -71 chevy brake question
Hey fellas, I need some help. I am looking to replace my rear drum and front disc brakes with a new set from SSBC. My truck is a 71 C10 converted into a 4x4 with 6 lug axles and a dana 44 front and 12 bolt rear. SSBC says the closest they have is a set for 73-87 chevy trucks.
My question is how difficult a swap would it be for me to go with these brakes? Anything to be concerned about? Any help is much appreciated. |

Re: Please help -71 chevy brake question
The 73 up rotors will work but they have larger wheel bearings and you would have to go with the 73 up stub axles. Could become expensive!
The rear drums should be ok if they are the same width. Jim
