hot start question
okay when my truck is hot it does not want to start its not heat soak becaus eit spins over fine it acts like its flooded and i to floor and hold gas to get it starte dwhat would cause this? oh its a 71 c-10 307 2 bbl

Sounds like the carb needs to be rebuilt. Float may need to be replaced, could be too high, or partially sunk and dumping fuel over when you shut it off.
