Getting serious

Hey all!

Last week I sold my 67 chevelle, and now I'm ready to jump into the truck pool head first!! So far I bought a sb 400 and th350 to replace the 250 3 speed. She goes in for body and paint in 2 weeks!! Looking for ideas for paint? So far,I like black, blue, or maybe yellow. Some advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Brett

Sounds like you are really moving. Take a look in the pictures section, you should be able to get a good idea of what you like after looking at a few others.

I agree, this is a hot thing nowadays, look at pics I posted below, the red
truck is mainly one color, they used a subtle graphic to break up the color,
plus I added 2 others that I really liked, one flame job, and one other.

As far as my chevelle goes, The guy made me an offer I could'nt refuse!! It damn near killed me to sell her. I will be getting another muscle car soon!! More than likely a first generation Camaro, big block 4 speed!! Or another chevelle.

Thanks for the ideas, I think I'm starting to lean towards a red of some sort!

Now it's time for my first stupid ?. What is the reason for converting to 5 lug from 6 lug?

Well the rim selection is like 10 to 1, 10 versions of 5 lug
available for every set of 6 lug out there, more choices

plus 6 lug is usually drum brakes... and 5 lug is always disc brakes. at least on the front of the truck. discs stop alot better than drums on the front of these trucks. trust meeee.
