Local car shows

Last Sunday was our first car show of the year. Normally maybe 50-60 cars but due the China virus it was over 150 cars. Social distance was typical. Some wore masks most didn't. We were OK with that. The car club served food from a distance. All a free will donation. Money inserted into a plastic bucket.
We and all we talked to said it was time to get back to normal. Lots of older folks walking around.
Looking forward to the next one.

Re: Local car shows

I have been itching for a good car show/swap meet and there sure haven't been any. We are going to try to have our small one here aug 22. "normal" would feel good again.

Re: Local car shows

Yea, all of our local shows have been cancelled here, so get the word out for anything still taking place; I'm sure we're all suffering car and truck withdrawals!

Re: Local car shows

No many shows here in southern Indiana. Wife and I are only a few miles from the Henderson Kentucky boarder so we thought we'd go to a cruise-in they were having at Fazoli's. We have been there before and it was a small turn out of about 35 to 40 cars. Not many people practicing social distancing. We took our own food. Pretty much stay by ourself since most people were not wearing a mask.

I believe I have. I posted earlier in the electrical forum.
