Correct single barrel carb for a 67 250 on my 65 GMC?
Hello all! Just got my C10 running. Having some carb problems... And I need a new carb. The carb has been rebuilt numerous times, so I think it's time to try something new. What is the factory carb for a 1967 250? The current carb is a Rochester B, but I'm not sure if its stock/if there was another option that performed more efficiently and better over all. Also... Is it worth it to spend $150 on a shop manual for my 65 GMC 1000 series if I have a 63 Chevrolet manual with a 65 supplement manual?

The original carb is the model B. It should work good if it is rebuilt correctly. You could put a 68 up Monojet on it but they are more difficult to get right.
I can't imagine $150 for any manual but you certainly don't need it if you have a 63 & the 65 supplement. There is very little difference in the 2 models. |

I got a monojet from autozone and have had no issues with it on my 84's 292.
