rear window install?
im going to be installing my new rear window soon, what size string should i use to pull it in?

I like 3/16 hollow braid nylon; 1/4 will work as well.

I use 1/8" nylon with plenty of creme hand soap, (no grit).

Dish soap on the rubber also works well . Anything you can imagine to make it slimy to help the rubber slide over the lip of the pinchweld. If you notice the rope start to really get tight stop before you tear the rubber that can happen. If you do get tight that means the glass is not centered in the hole and needs to shift over a little bit. Usally it will bump over just by going to the "long" side and bumping it with your hand. But in doing that be careful and don't break the handle out of that hammer. [that was a saying my dad has when someone hits something with their hands]
