Steering Column: D shaft to splined shaft coupler?
I installed a new ididit "knockoff" steering column that I picked up at a swap meet for a song. The column has a D shaft, while the steering box shaft requires a splined shaft. Does anyone make an adapter or a shaft that will accept the D shaft from the column and bolt to the original steering box?
Also, does anyone know what the part # for the flat column plug to curved under dash harness plug adapter is? Thanks and thanks!

Ididit has them. I don't have the part #'s. They have a web site. I got mine from RB's Obsolete in Arizona.

Re: Steering Column: D shaft to splined shaft coupler?
I bought an 81 for suspension and brake parts. It had a lower steering shaft that had a D type at the coupling and a regular rag joint at the other end. Probably true of all 73-87 models. Check your local junkyard. The length of these can be changed by sliding them together.
