1968 cab
Hi everybody i have a 1968 chev truck and the cab is in really rough shape i am looking for another cab would a 69-72 cab be the same as my 68

Yes close enough the only difference being the E brake set up is on the kick panel in the later years instead of the dash panel in 67-68.

There are several differences. As mentioned above the e-brake is in different locations and is a different style. The 71-72 cabs have a vent in the door pillars on each side. The 71' has a raised area where the rear view mirror mounts, the 72' has no rear view mirror mount because the mirror was on the windshield. The 67-69 had a rod style throttle linkage that mounts to the firewall and the 71-72 cabs used a cable throttle that goes through a small hole. I am sure there are other small differences, but those are the ones I can think of real quick. All of them will bolt up and work, but they are different in small ways.
