69 cab on 67 frame ?s
Ok so Im sure its been asked but Im not having any luck finding the question in the search.
So we got a 67 chevy that needs a cab and I have a rust free 69 cab. now then here is the question. Do I order 67 cab mounts or 69 cab mounts? I know a few people on here have talked about 67-68 having the cab mounts on the frame sitting a little higher up than the 69-72 frames. So making the 67-68 mounts thinner than the 69-72 ones. Is this correct? Would I just need to buy 67-68 rubber mounts an be ok with the 69 cab on the 67 frame? |

Re: 69 cab on 67 frame ?s
they should be the same.
If the frame is a 2 wheel drive 1/2 ton, then order those mounts, if it is anything else, then get the other mounts. |

Where you're getting confused is the core support mounts being different between the two. The cab mounts are the same though. Just order 1/2 or 3/4 ton mounts, whatever is appropriate for the frame.

Re: 69 cab on 67 frame ?s
Awesome guys and thanks for the info. Just got the rusty cab off today for my cousin. Now he will be cleaning the fram a little then maybe if I get the time I can hook him up with a 5 lug suspension for it. New 67-72 nut in the making and at a verry young age.
