If it was close to being a chevy, which it isnt..it would be the 60-66 era.The chevys sorta looked like the fords in those years

Re: Need help, what year?

I think, '67-68 ford - the strip down the side is indicative of the year - but $25 is way too much for a f#@rd part.

Re: Need help, what year?

If its in good shape, buy it up. Then sell it on ebay and see if you can turn some coin on it. I agree that the gate is chevy.

Re: Need help, what year?

well if you can put a chevy front clip on a gmc,,why not put a ford bed on it to..couldnt be any worse...and would sure confuse who ever bought it and seen gmc on the title,,but nothing left of the gmc..

Re: Need help, what year?

Theres probably a ford guy looking at a nice 68-72 short bed wishing it was a ford. If you could find him there would be one guy happy. I don't see a lot of happy ford owners. My son is junking his ford mud truck and he has seen the light he is getting some of that chevy power.

Re: Need help, what year?

Should be worth big bucks. The cheezy two-piece bedsides like to rust along the "what`s this there for?" seam that runs front to back.Of course, with the "drooped in the rear" cabs not fareing much better, the demand could be low.

Re: Need help, what year?

if it was here in the rust belt, you'd have guys offering you there wife and a butt load of money. I think the last one disolved and returned to mother earth in the early 90's.
They are still very common in the southern states though.
