glovebox door lock!!!

Did they make these on our style trucks? I got one, didn't know how rare they were, This is my first one I've seen. Randy

Randy, I have seen lots of them durring my "parting out" days. I have one in the 68 1ton CST that I think is original? Not sure how you got you the lock? I have never seen this listed on a glove box sticker?

My 71 had one and no key to fit sooooo....I ordered the full matching keyset from GMC Pauls. door, ignition, and glovebox are all the same key. Coolio~!

I have noticed that there are 2 different styles of glovebox locks. The first style looks like a regular glovebox button with a key hole in it. The second is the kind that is in my truck, it is round with a key hole in the middle, it fills the whole indentation rather than the little tab
