Ultra rare big block 4wd!!

Gotcha!! Picked these 400 emblems up at the yard and cleaned them up and painted them, didnt really need them, just dont come across them very often especially in the bone yards around here. The truck still has the am radio and the big block motor stands, I need to go back and pick them up for later trades. Any ways, not going to leave them on the truck since it's now a 4wd and all the purists know that 4wd trucks didnt come with big blocks.

If it had been the ultra rare Corvette option big block 4wd, that would really be something.

But it does have the even rarer optional Corvette motor with Small block heads on a big block motor!

Re: Ultra rare big block 4wd!!

I had a sb 400 in my 79 GMC. Loved every minute of it. I even stroked it to a 420, but after 5k miles I had a piston come apart and tore the block to shreds. RIP 400 .

Re: Ultra rare big block 4wd!!

Cool!! I had the 400 emblems on my '72 K/20 Highlander with a 400 SBC. I thought that was just right. It added to the mystique of an already rare truck.
