my truck needs tires

My lowered 75 step is in need of tires. it has 255/60/15s on it now. kinda thinking 275/60/15s. The truck has 4.11s wich is way to steep & considering swapping to 3.73s.
But I see now that Hoosier has a 29"X10" Pro Street radial.
My truck actually sits about 3/4" low in the rear, Im thinking this tire would raise it up an inch & 1/2,. allow me to keep my 4.11s & fill the wheel wells nicely.
BFG also make a Drag radial about the same size for about a hundred bucks less a piece( the Hoosier pro Street RAdials are pricey), but Im conserned with wear on the drag radials.
Its not a daily driver, its a weekend toy, but if I decide I want to go to Springfield for car Craft, I dont want to have to worry about the tire wear.
With the 454 I need the traction, & with the 4.11s I like the idea of the taller tire. any opinions on either ?

I would go with a 275/60 15..look into an American Racer tire though. All my friends run those and they last a while (longer than DR"s) and hook better (than DR's)
