AUDIOBAHN is the Sh!t and the prices on ebay are unbeatable!!! I would have kept the kenwoods over the sony's though just preference.

kicker is awsome. there low bottom comp subs are fairly cheap and hit really hard. i have a one 10 in my truck and it beats a buddy of mines rockford 12s. i would keep the sony thought if thats what you got . my dad has a sony 12 in his truck and sounds really good and has been durable so far.

chevjayfsd,

I bought a couple of JL Audio Subs a year ago and will never buy anything else again. They are incredible. I have run many other subs including xplods, kenwood, eclipse, nakamichi, kicker, and rockford fosgate. Some were good and others not so good. But I haven't heard anything that compares with the JL.

I will never buy anything but Polk Audio, JL Audio, or Boston Acoustics for subs again if I can help it. Can't go wrong, period. Buy one off ebay for the same price as Sony or Kenwood at a store.

If you must choose b/t Kenwood and Sony, I'd go Kenwood every time for car audio. I have a Kenwood EQ and have been quite happy with it.

i personally think audiobahn is "sh!t". they have trouble making their own show cars sound good. i have extremely good hookups on audiobahn stuff since i know a guy who grew up with the guy who started the company, ive tried some of their stuff but most of it is crap, the stock 6.5" speakers in my blazer sounded better than a set of their 6.5"s. their top of the line models are average at best. even with the deal i can get on their stuff (much cheaper than ebay) i still wont run it in my car. although i will say their subs are ALOT better than their amps.

ive got a couple friends into car audio, some of which work at speakerworks and audio dimension in so cali and i assure you they dont talk too highly about kenwood or sony subs either.

i havent been checking out audio stuff for at least a couple years but when i was last it was still JL, alpine, phoenix gold, u.s. amps who had good products that i could still afford, and sony, jvc, kenwood and blaukpunkt (sp?) was the stuff you got from walmart.
