How Do I wire a Factory Tach?

Can't find the info in FAQ. Got a tach harness, and no instructions came with it. It plugs into the back of the tach, has a pink wire (power) and a brown wire (coil) Where on the coil do I connect the brown wire? Pos side or Neg side? DO I need a ground wire also? Thanks. This is for non-HEI, factory ignition...otherwise the wire just goes to "tach" on the cap!
