K5 is done!
That's it, all she wrote, done and done! Drove her down open headers to the exhaust shop, and 8 hours later, she comes out with a new exhaust.
In all honesty? The Bullet Performance mufflers are WHISPER quiet. Quieter then I would have liked, but I am sure they will get a little louder when they break in. I went from stock manifolds to dual 2 1/4" pipes with blown out glasspacks to the new exhaust- Headers, 2 1/2" pipes with crossover and Bullet mufflers. I did give up a little low end. If anyone is looking for quiet and mellow, look these up. Need to adjust the dual stabilizer up front, and retorque everything, and it's a go! Done and done. Winter project is over. I will get some pics up soon. Thanks for everyone's help. It was an experience! Hope I can help someone else in the future the way you guys helped me.
