I don't really like plain looking engines like that, you should add a little chrome to it.

Yea,
I purchased the truck for my wife. She likes long beds. However as the process continued it turned into more of a show truck. I bought her a '68 VW beetle that she loves and the truck is more mine now. I would rather it be a short bed. Thought about cutting the bed down as others have done but the labor involved would made it cheeper for me to purchase from LMC. I don't weld. And while I'm at it why not put in a wood bed…….etc…..

Very nice work. Your truck is a work of art. I did notice the headlight bezels are swapped. Notice the adjusting indentions for putting a screw driver in the adjusting screws. What kind of seats are you putting in?

Few changes since last post. grill/bumper installed. Classic instruments view. Bed painted. Just need to get it on the frame and order the driveshaft. Cheers.

While looking for alternative place for gas filler I actually found others on this website and on the show 'Trucks" that made this mod. I did not want to lower tailgate to fill gas.

cheers.

Thanks, I will do some more research. I was hoping you had documented what hinge you used and how you mounted it. I saw that trucks episode I think. What type of filler cap are you using? Did you modify your bed to run the tube down to the tank? thanks

I would have to do some research also but I am pretty sure we did it exactly how they did it on the "trucks" episode.
the filler is a capless one recommended on the show.
the bed is modified a bit. I will snap a photo soon.
cheers.
