Ignition bezel removal
I want to replace the key cylinder in my ignition and don't know how the bezel comes off the ignition. Pointers would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Re: Ignition bezel removal
You have to take the lock cyl out of the switch first . Put the key in and turn it to the left to accesory. get a small paperclip or drill bit and push it in the small hole in the face of the key cylinder turn the key a little more to the left while holding pressure on the paperclip or drill bit and the key cylinder should come out . I used a set of needle nose pliers and put the tips of them in the bezel slots and just unscrew the bezel counter clock wise while holding the ignition switch from the back of the dash. There is also a tool you can buy to fit the bezel if you dont want to use the needle nose pliers .

Re: Ignition bezel removal
If you are just replacing the lock cylinder and keys, you do not need to remove the bezel. Follow Tim R's instrucktion to remove your old one and just replace it with the new. WES
