Second painting of the 69
Well, we re-painted the 69 today. After a week of wet sanding, the hood fenders and cowl got painted. Much better results. There is still some orange peel but the paint has gloss and depth. We will re-paint the cab tomorrow weather permiting!
Here are a few pics! |

Re: Second painting of the 69
Chevy 504 light olive green. Had some pearl added to it. The pics dont do it justice. Looks different in changing light. Were not very good at painting so it orange peeled on us. But it is what it is.

Re: Second painting of the 69
Where did you get your paint mixed up?
Did you just go in and tell them you needed "Chevy 504 light olive green" and they had the formula and everything ready to go? My truck was originally that color but the PO repainted it an ugly dark green and I'd love to repaint it to the original color. Thanks for the help!
