Serpentine belt conversions

This a used serpentine belt conversion is for small block chevys. The pics are my demo set up. The kit includes RH AC bracket, AC R-4 pump R134 or R12, LH Alt-power steering bracket, 100A Alt, power steering pump, belt tensioner, fan clutch, fan blade, clutch mounting studs & nuts, water pump pulley, crankshaft pulley w/bolts, braces and nuts & bolts. The RH bracket originally used 2 mounting bolts to the cylinder head. If your cylinder head only has the traditional one hole it will still work fine. I have sold many of these that only used one mounting hole with no problems. These will come cleaned and ready for detailing. I can detail a kit for 100.00 extra which will include media blasting and painting in satin black. I have four of these conversions for 225.00 plus shipping. Big block conversions also available.

Re: Serpentine belt conversions

Will this fit 1970 4X4 radiator shroud, and the upper radiator hose. Do you have any with out A/C. What would shipping be to 30263. Any pics installed in trucks?

No, it will not work with the deep 4X4 shroud. I'm thinking it would work with a 2WD shroud on a 4X4 truck. I have a local freind putting one in a 72 4X4 and he just got the 2WD shroud to see if it would work. Also won't with the factory upper metal tube. A non ac set up uses a dummy pulley in place of the ac pump therefor it uses the same belt. Sorry no pics of any installed. Shipping would be 67.66 Thanks, Tom

It will require a reverse flow water pump. These pumps are available with or w/o the heater return port. I can supply it with a used pump but I would highly recommend a new one.

I am also interested. I have a 67/70 "327" I used different heads with holes for accessories. Looks like the alt bracket bolts on to a later model exhaust manifolds. mine are ram horn style, will this still work. Will there be any issue with crank pulley. What is shipping to 21863 Snow Hill,Md and is Paypal ok. Thanks Ed.

I have a completely factory stock 1967 327 in my truck with headers, Edelbrock intake with the oil fill tube...

If I understand you correctly it will not work with that oil fill tube...

I don't have any brackets for your vintage air compressor. Maybe Vintage air would have a bracket kit to mount it in place of a R-4 pump. I do have one available.

These will not work on a 68 and older engine. The heads do not have any holes in the ends for the brackets.

Thanks, Tom

The bracket hits the manifold before it gets up to the head of the bolt. I can send a pic of the issue tomorrow night. It really helps support both. I have seen guys delete this bracket with no problems as far as I know.

The kit includes RH AC bracket, AC R-4 pump R134 or R12, LH Alt-power steering bracket, 100A Alt, power steering pump, belt tensioner, fan clutch, fan blade, clutch mounting studs & nuts, water pump pulley, crankshaft pulley w/bolts, braces and nuts & bolts.
You will need a new water pump, belt, and pig tail for alt.

What year truck are the alt, PS pump, and A/C pump out of? Also what would shipping be to 32068(home) or 32257(bussiness addy)? Also are they new items or tested used ones?

Do you still have some available? This would pretty much bolt up to a 70 gmc with a 350 right?

I would also be interested, Can you run the kit without the fan? Or does the fan hold the pulley on? I have electric fan so would not need fan and clutch if it will work like that. Oh and 134 would be my choice. Thanks Tim

Tim, it would work fine without the fan and clutch. Just use short bolts with HD flat washers to prevent the pulley from cracking over time. Thanks, Tom
