Where to get 3'' drop coils?

Hey guys,
Where's the best place to order coils from? Ive heard lately that some of you have been havn problems w/some companies out there... are there any board vendors who sell them?
Also I have cut 1 coil out of my original springs, and I wanted to go an inch lower... so im wanting the 3'' or 4''? Just curious as to how much the original ones have already sagged... if I buy the 3'' will I end up having the same drop I currently have; are u following me all this?
Thanks!
Anthony

you can only go so much with springs in the front..

I suggest a set of drop sprindles+lowering Springs

3" coils PLUS two coils cut AND drop spindles??? That ain't gonna work. Heck, I don't think the springs alone will work.

A 3" coil is about as much as you can go with coils alone...and if you cut 2 coils, you will have like a 6-7" drop spring...as 1 cut coil = approx 2 inches. THEN you are adding drop spindles on top of that...I just don't see it working. I was asking lots of drop question a couple months ago on here, the consensus was a 5.5 static front drop is about as low as you can go without having clearance issues with the inner fenders and without bottoming out the suspension while driving. Some people have run 6...but that is about it from what I have been told.

Re: Where to get 3'' drop coils?

No problem glad I could help.

What's weird is their 3 inch drop coils are cheaper then 2 inch or 1 inch.

I thought of cutting mine, so I'd get off cheaper but I don't want a harsh ride out of it.

I hear alot of people have trouble with 3 inch drop spindles and 15's, although shortly I'll have aftermarket rims that are 15's with les backsapce so maybe they'd work. I also hate that with springs I guess you have to realign the front end with shims to ake up the difference, were-as spindles keep the correct geometery, or so they claim.
