Re: Anyone have more info on this truck?
Yeah, there are several solutions to tilting the hood forward...this looks more custom than just the lesabre ones....and yes, the hood is molded together with what would have been the wiper cowl and the cowl hood runs to the windshield. I'd like to see the interior, a picture with the hood closed, the bed, undercarriage, etc....

Re: Anyone have more info on this truck?
That's pretty sweet! If you look in street rod mags, there a bunch of vendors that sell those hood tilting kits.

Re: Anyone have more info on this truck?
I got to see the truck in person at the Autorama in Albuquerque. It was done by a company in Phoenix I think. No Limit sells a reversible hood kit, if that is what you're looking for.

Re: Anyone have more info on this truck?
The truck was built here in phoenix at a very nice shop called "hot rods by dean" founded by dean livermore. a friend of mine had some work done on his '71 & they do very fine work. i was able to see the truck both under construction & at the southwest nats. & the truck is truly amazing!...

Re: Anyone have more info on this truck?
Rockcrln also has done the forward tilt as have several others. I was really just looking for more pictures of the truck....and it's a beaut....not a huge fan of the chop or the way the front roofline is with the way they shaved the driprail, but that's splitting hairs...it's a very nice truck and great fab work!!!
Here's a better picture of the custom forward tilt done on this truck....not the greatest picture but gives you a better idea... Interior is pretty clean...like the floor and how it matches the bedfloor. I assume this is to access the fuel filler?

Re: Anyone have more info on this truck?
Saw one like this at The Daytona Rod Run in 07. I remembered I liked the way this looked with the shaved rain groove over the windshield so I snapped some pics so I would remember. These are LeSabre hinges also the Lesabre has a bar that connects the two hinges together which makes it hard to not look tacky. This one looks good though.
