The only robot I remember from 1965 was this one. I saw it everyday when I got home from school.... watched it while eating Chips Ahoy cookies and drinking milk . I never realized the trucks came from the factory without a rear bumper. But I guess that explains why there are so many diffrent types of rear bumpers.

those trucks were probably built in a west coast factory since the firewall is body color and not the interior fawn color like most east coast trucks were.

i have been seen trucks that were built in altanta plant that have interior color on the firewalls ? i know fremont and janesville had body color i think also st louis anybody check to see at flint or baltimore or ? mike
