Rolling DOT Violation

I'm pretty sure that this is the longest thing I've ever pulled. Four wagons, each one is twenty feet long plus the each wagon has a tongue. I'm guessing around 100ft. from the hitch to the end of the last wagon.

Well without getting into the complexities of raising burley tobacco, you need the wagons to get it from the field to the barn. I had a nine mile haul, and it cut down on how many trips I had to make.

Re: Rolling DOT Violation

Yeah there are several things that we are allowed immunity on. Still it's always best to use extra caution when moving equipment.

Re: Rolling DOT Violation

If you would have had to back up you would have been in trouble.

Re: Rolling DOT Violation

We used to do that when I loaded containerized cargo into airplanes in the 80s. We would often have 5-10 trailers all hooked together. Just remember to swing WIDE when you turn, and don't even try to back up! .
