smoothies
Anyone running a smothie style rim on there ride? Thinking of it for my ride they are cheap old skool and very shiney sounds good to me anyway pics would be nice.

Yeah, I've seen some running around and they are period correct for these trucks. You wanting to ditch the ralleys? What size tire you running?

more than likely some time. I am running 235 70 in front 275 60 in rear. My other thought was running wider rings and painting the ralleys white?

I had smoothies on Lefty for about a year until I switched to 5 lug. the problem I had was the chrome was so crappy they rusted in 3 months. if i can find some 5 lugs i would probably have them stripped and chromed locally. they look awesome on our trucks. JMO

I have em on my 69.I think they are pretty cool.I have not had any rust issues.
I forgot to mention that the rear wheels were custom made in Cali.They are 12 inchs deep.

You need to keep them clean and waxed.They`re probably the easiest wheel and cap to keep clean.
