Re: power steering set up

When I sent that to you, all the pieces were assembled how they fit together. All you had to do was bolt it to your pump, install the pulley and bolt it to your engine. I was thinking there was a couple pics of this style in your previous thread on power steering pumps.

Re: power steering set up

I know it was all together but the bracket wont fit on the pump or line up with the holes on the engine

Re: power steering set up

are you saying it wont bolt to the pump because the pump has that raised portion by the bolt holes and the bracket metal is not cut right to go around the raised part on pump? i think you just bolt it right on top of that raised part....but i would wait for captain fab to reply he seems to be the power steering guru....and that bracket should bolt to the block just fine tho.

heres what i think it should do:

Re: power steering set up

The adjuster bracket isn't going to work with the header bolt on the front of the #1 Cylinder. You need a factory bolt that holds the exhaust manifold and a shim to cover gap from the header flange to the adjuster. Other than that, it should bolt right up.
