This morning, in the last 20 seconds of the auction, I missed out on THE item I realy wanted: A Dealer Data Book

ddspill was the lucky one. Is he on this board perhaps?

Well it's still that story about towing. As you know I need it on my registration papers, but inspection wants it on a official document from the factory. The dealer can't help me, so I was hoping this book would be enough for the inspection guys. I tried it with the copies I got through this board, but that was't acceptable for them. So I was hoping on winning that item, plus it would been great to have such a piece of history in my collection of books.

Do you own such a book for 1971 Kevin?

I have one for the 1970 model coming as we speak.............sure hope its in as good shape as that one.

Theres a literature place in Seattle area that sells these old books for around $100
