Volt Guage
Hey guys, anyone know of a company that produces a volt guage to replace the ammeter/battery guage and still retain the factory look?

I kept my useless ammeter and just screwed an aftermarket gauge to the bottom of the dash. It can be removed in a minute if I really wanted to preserve that original look. I do like your idea though.

I am going to add a write up soon, but I got an idea from Gringoloco.
Using his idea I took a sunpro volt gauge apart, and slightly modified the factory amp gauge face to fit it. Looks factory but works as a volt gauge. Looks great

I will be doing what Gringoloco did as well - already got the gauge - found it on the Bay for a few bucks last year.

I wish i had the pics, but my uncle just installed a volt, oil press, and temp gauge from a 73 + in his 71 Burb. They look good and fit the cluster well. Ill try to get some pics of his install asap.

I will do full write up with pics soon, but here are some teaser pics of what I am doing. Full credit to Gringo for giving me the idea.
Pics are a little blurry. Basically, you remove sunpro gauge face, mod factory face, drill new holes, and mount to sunprog gauge internals and cup. I will provide more pics/details soon, including my rear/factory style mounted sunpro tach. btw, that is the stock temp gauge. I added sunpro tach, volts, and elect. oil psi (try to finish up oil psi tomorrow)
