Ideas for a 70 C-10
Hello board this is my first post and i wanted to get some experienced posters give me some comments. I am a 16 year old man who just purchased a 1970 chev and is in mint condition. Only a few spots of rust.
What can i do to enhance the performance of my rebuilt stock 350 motor? It has a cam already BTW. For the mirrors which ones work well on the truck. I got those little 4 inch ones and they are driveing me nuts! I can Post picks if you want. Is there a way to get better lights? the lights on it do not show much stuff! Any things to look at that could make it look good because the truck is mainly stock. Thanks guys. |

How can you put on pictures without putting them on the internet first?

Re: Ideas for a 70 C-10
LMCTruck has the Crystal Clear Headlights for $29.95 each. You can also get the ion blue bulbs (similar to what some newer cars use) to use in these headlights instead of the white bulb that comes with the headlights. The ion blue bulbs are $12.95 each. If you upgrade to these headlights it would be a safe bet to get the heavyduty headlight harness to match for $29.95. LMC also offers the tripod style headlights for $69.95 each. I'm not sure if the headlights have a glass or plastic lens though. Their website is www.lmctruck.com if you just want to check them out.

Re: Ideas for a 70 C-10
Looks nice! Welcome to the board!
That color is very bright out in the sun like that. Stick with that Amsoil filter if you like the 2-stage type. Out of testing the different kinds of them, the Amsoil was the only one that never broke down. The Accel brand did break down. The Amsoil one though stood to the test. If you like paper ones, that's a different story altogether... |

Good looking truck, especially for a young guy; you're lucky, I didn't get my 'burb 'til I was 35.

Re: Ideas for a 70 C-10
Well, I don't know, it would depend on a few things. I can tell you that my truck does not have some of the nice mods that yours has, and I paid $5200 for it. Here is mine for comparison.
