Do they repo the suburban rubber floors or will truck work?
I am restoring a 68 GMC Suburban that does not have carpet it has all the rubber floor mats they are pretty much shot and I can't find them anywhere! What do you guys end up doing? I really do not want to use carpet. Is there a blazer one available? I'm not sure if that's the same

Re: Do they repo the suburban rubber floors or will truck work?
There was some vendors out there selling 67-72 Suburban rubber floor covering, but it was only made in black and not any other color.
I spoke with one of the people at ACC about the stuff, and he said that they are not planning on selling them any more. Since the return rate, and customer satisfaction on them were so low. My Suburban originally came with green rubber floor covering, but was forced to go with green carpet. Which is fine with me. Seems like most of the threads here that talk about the new rubber flooring, the people that actually had put it in their PU's pretty much always give the stuff a thumbs down.

Re: Do they repo the suburban rubber floors or will truck work?
The rubber matt we had in our 1968 suburban was cracked basically shot in only 3 years of summer driving. I ended up getting a complete carpet kit from ACC . The fit was great up front and middle imo was missing a trim edge where the access to 3rd row is.. The rear cargo area I am not happy with. It's about 3/4" narrow on each side. I am very pickey

I will check with acc . Are they also called acme? I really think carpet would ruin the look I am going for. Is the front floor on a truck , blazer or suburban the same?

Re: Do they repo the suburban rubber floors or will truck work?
You can contact just about any of the truck part sellers out there about it, but if I were you I would start with the smaller outfits. Since they will talk to you about what you are ordering, rather than take your credit card info and say thanks for your order...
Check with the vendors found here on the forum, since I know from personal experience they will always tell it to you like it is. Even if it means you changing your mind.
