C10 or k10?
So I have a 1972 Chevy short stepper C10 or so I thought. It's 4wd, but it's badged as a C10? Shouldn't it be k10? Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

Re: C10 or k10?
Fenders and badging can easily be changed. Bodies can be swapped, glove box doors can be changed. Does the cab VIN # match the frame stamped #. Cab VIN will have a "K" for 4wd or a "C" for a 2wd factory production. The frame stamped # should be on drivers side top frame rail near the steering gear box. May have to clean grease and crud off with wire brush to see it. Will be a partial number matching the vin #. Others with more knowledge can give you some more things to look for I'm sure.

Re: C10 or k10?
C-10 is the correct badge. The only 67-72s that got a "K" badge was the blazer on 2 or 4wd. Your VIN would have a CK at the beginning if it is a 4x4.
