slammed truck bleeding brakes

i have a 1965 GMC that im redoing the brake lines. I have the poportion valves with no reset button Mc and a brake booster.
My problem is theres pressure for the first few pumps then nothing.
ive been reading for hours on brakes bleeding but i think it may have something to do with my poportion valve being lower than my calipers. Im just trying to get an idea of were to start.

Re: slammed truck bleeding brakes

Where did you get your prop valve?
Are you sure it's not the drum brake's "distribution block"?

What M/C do you have?

Re: slammed truck bleeding brakes

I got the pv fom cpp over two years ago. MC, Brake booster and pv were all running on my truck fine. I just installed my PB crossmember and redid my front brake lines.

So you had disc brakes prior to installing the Dropmember?

Re: slammed truck bleeding brakes

Then I don't know what is going on.
Having the M/C lower than the calipers requires inline check valves.
But the prop valve shouldn't.

Re: slammed truck bleeding brakes

Good deal Gilbert. I knew it had to be something we overlooked. You gonna keep the corvette master?
