Power to manual doors electrical question.
I bought a 01 2500hd to use solely as a winter beater/tow rig.
It has 300k on the 6.0. But has a rebuilt 80 transmission, transfer case, and stainless lines done. I am working to make it as work only and dead reliable as I can. I yanked the hvac out and replaced it with a summit heater so no controls, motors, or pita things to replace. The radiatior has the typical cracked plastic neck so a new all aluminum replacement is coming as well as a aluminum heater/overflow Y piece and new hoses. Need to play with pads and rotors before this girl spreads her legs. The drivers power window does not work. I think it is just a switch or such. If it is a motor no big deal. But, I would really like to switch my doors to ones with manual windows to once again eliminate another failure point. Is going from power to manual going to do anything with anything electronic/pcm if I just tape over the power window connections?

Re: Power to manual doors electrical question.
I think if you install the manual regulaters and taped up the power conections,it would be ok,I am doing the same on a F¥+d,and will be taping up the old plugs.
