Unhappy R.I.P. Bob Moore

How do ?

My brother spent a lot of time on this site. I'm sure he'd want you guys to know about his death. He, like so many of us, was claimed by cancer on 01/23/08. He loved talking with you all. He bought stuff, sold stuff and learned stuff here. His latest project was a GMC BB, short-fleet, small window hotrod.

A full obituary can be viewed until February 24th at:

http://www.legacy.com/tribnet/DeathN...onID=101861472

Hang loose brother. w.b.Moore (Bob's brother)

Re: R.I.P. Bob Moore

WOW...ETsC10 and I had a conversation about Bob this morning...he will be missed...especially at the swap meets. He was a really great guy and I really enjoyed talking with him and hanging out with him at the swap meets. We will miss him and pray for him.

The last two swap Monroe Swap meets Bob was a big contributor and spent lots of time in the booth. No matter how badly he was feeling, he would always show up. I swear he could barely walk but always had a big smile on his face. In true swap meet fashion (he was a fixture at the Portland Swap meet) he found an electric scooter for sale, bought it and rode it around when it became too difficult for him to walk.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: R.I.P. Bob Moore

So sad that we have lost Bob. We were blessed to have him as a member and friend.
He loved his trucks and he loved this board. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him, on line and in real life. Rest in comfort Bob.
My condolences to Mary Kay and the rest of Bob's family. If there is anything that can be done to make this sad time a little easier, just ask.

Re: R.I.P. Bob Moore

I'm so sorry for your loss. I was reading back over some of his old posts, and there was one where he told of his diagnosis. One of his replies touched me. It was from earlier in 07, but I revived the thread so those that didn't know him might have a chance to know the type of man he was.
God Bless you and your family in your hour of need.
