Power steering line problem
I lost my previous thread where I was having a problem with the connection on the gear box. This is now solved those of you that attempted to guide me thanks for your responses & pics. Why for sure the previous line didn't connect properly I'm still not sure. It was a manufactured stainless braided line. Anyway I orderd a new line from GMC Pauls web site. Even with all the comments recently because in the past I haven't had any problems in the last few years of ordering thru him. Although I didn't receive any confirmation thru e-mail like in previous dealings. My line showed up in about 4-5 days. The line I ordered was for a 68 (male fitting on Gear/ female end with male/male adapter on pump side) as my frame I suspect was. It worked, doesn't leak on my garage floor & I am now happy. KUDOS both this site & GMC Pauls for having correct parts in a timely manner.
