292 Engine mount help

So I’ve been considering a 292 swap into a ‘72 C10 that was a 350 V8 truck. 292 passenger side engine frame perch is SUPER hard to find these days, but I got one…or so I thought I had. I need to see if anyone can tell me if the 67-72 292 passenger side engine frame perch is its own thing? Yes I know it’s different that a V8 and different than a 250 passenger side mount. But, is it different than a 292 mount from prior to 67? I’ll post a few pics of what I have.

First pic I’d the mounts bolted to the engine. Front of engine it to the right. Passenger mount is 4 inches forward of driver side.

2nd is a close up of the pax side mount.

3rd is the original V8 engine frame perches.

4 is the “292” mount set into the frame. If I line it up with the forward 2 holes then it sits forward of the cross member.

Is it possible that I actually bought a non 292 mount? Or is this a correct 292 mount for a pre 67-72?

Let me correct myself. With my 292 mount (the rusty one) set on the frame lined up with the 2 forward holes it sits in the same position as the V8 mount and the driver side mount.

Awesome pics LockDoc. But now I’m even more confused….

So it looks like I do indeed have a 292 passenger side mount. So that’s a good thing. And the 292 mount will bolt into the front holes in the frame and cross member. The driver side mount will need to be moved to the rear holes.

What is confusing me is that if I move the driver side mount to the rear holes and mount the 292 I will need to move the transmission aft also??

I was under the assumption (I know never assume) that the 292 would drop in with the correct mount. Does the transmission sit in a different location between a 350 V8 and a 292?? That will create other issues like drive shaft and shift linkage. I’m also wondering if my 350 V8 mounts were in the wrong position to begin with? They were in the front holes, in my pic the drivers side mount hasn’t been moved since I pulled the engine. The engine I pulled out is NOT original to the truck. I’ll go look this morning to see if the transmission cross member has another set of mounting holes aft of where it’s currently mounted.

I wish 12-Bolt.com made a proper L25 292 L6 Passenger Side mount, instead of their part that mounts in the Fuel Pump mountings and kills using a mechanical fuel pump, not to mention negating GM's design change on the 292 mounts to secure the drive train from excessive
lateral torqueing.
As to the transmission crossmembers, I can't help. My truck came with the L25 and SM465 from the factory, and I've never put an automatic transmission in the Stepside's drivetrain.
The L25 option [292 L6] was first available in Model Year 1963. I don't know of mounting configuration differences between '63 and '67. But my '63 core block was out of the donor truck when I got it.

I have a couple of the 4wd 292 cross members and mounts posted them for sale but no takers. Might have been to high but no offers so they are just sitting. I have a bucket full of mounts for 2wd trucks as well will dig through them and see if there are any 292 in there. I was not sure what they looked like but now I have the pics for Lock Doc so I can get it figured out and let you know.
If you want to get rid of the 4wd V8 mount let me know might be interested.

I have a 4x4 K-truck 292 cross member myself, but the passenger side perches/motor mounts are rare.
